Part-Time Hood Cleaner (1 Position)

Job Description

Local business is looking to hire a Hood Cleaner. The position is part time leading to full time.

 Requirements:

  • Wage $14.00 to start with increases as per performance
  • Working at heights or willing to get take the training
  • Drivers licence, cleaning drivers abstract an asset
  • Not afraid of heights
  • Mechanical aptitude an asset
  • Physically fit
  • WHMIS training

 

Duties include:

  • Degreasing and cleaning stove and oven hoods inside and on the roofs of commercial buildings
  • Measures and/or weighs chemicals and combines to create cleaning solution at specified concentrations for the manufactured product
  • Adds cleaning solution to equipment as specified to ensure adequate levels and concentrations
  • Operate steam degreaser machine to remove dirt, grease and other debris
  • Personally make health and safety a priority ensuring you comply with all health and safety instructions
  • Comply with the policies and procedures of the Company
  • Work in a safe and orderly manner
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times, including the scheduled clean down of degreasing and spray facilities and company equipment
  • Adhere to the Company’s procedures with regard to environmental policies, specifically the recycling of waste products
  • Ensure all the property and equipment you use is maintained and not recklessly damaged
