Job Description

Title: House Keeping

Terms of Employment:Full Time is Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 4:00 pm. Including 30 mins unpaid lunch

Salary:$15.50

Anticipated Start Date:As soon as possible

Location:Niagara Falls

Languages:Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting:Indoors and Outdoors

Duties:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, common area including hallways and stairways, meeting rooms, and offices.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks in guest bathrooms and public washrooms as needed.
  • Keep guest bathrooms, public washrooms, and hall credenzas stocked.
  • Strip beds and change linens.
  • Prepare laundry for collection by laundry service and return to inventory when clean.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
  • Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Report any necessary repairs or replacements.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Duties will include indoor and occasional outdoor work. Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, common areas, meeting rooms, and offices.

Essential Skills:Oral communication, working with others, Job task planning and organizing.

  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks for basic maintenance and cleaning.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as grasping, pulling, lifting, reaching, crouching, bending, walking, and carrying.

Transportation/Travel Information:Own transportation, public transportation. Work location is on bus route.
