As part of our continued Company growth, we are expanding our IT Team, and seek a Junior IT Specialist, with a strong background in Microsoft Technologies.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, proactive and flexible professional with a solid background in fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures relating to the support of Microsoft-based systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In this role you will support development and maintenance of client and user systems related to a broad range of business areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop technical and specialised solutions to complex IT problems involving Microsoft-based software products, including Exchange, Dynamics CRM and Microsoft’s Office 365 suite.
- Strong networking skills required, as is the motivation to learn other operating systems including Linux and iOS.
- Excellent technical ability encompassing hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support.
- Recommend process improvements to ensure system reliability, scalability, security, integrity and performance.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills are essential
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting Microsoft product suite-based solutions. Applicable advance certifications for the specified areas.
- 3-5 years’ experience in an IT related field
- Microsoft Certification in Exchange 2013 or higher
- Microsoft Certification Windows Server 2012 or higher
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers
- Knowledge of Linux an asset
