Kitchen Worker
Job Gym is currently assisting A&W to recruit a Kitchen Worker. This position is full-time, between the hours of 4pm and 2am.The position will pay $14.50 per hour
This is a fast-paced position that involves food preparation, cooking, and kitchen maintenance. The primary responsibility of this position is the daily preparation of food items, fry station, grill station and other stations or areas of the kitchen. This includes setting up kitchen stations according to restaurant guidelines; preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner; and following portion controls.
Other duties of the role include but are not limited to restocking items as needed throughout shift; cleaning and maintaining station and practicing safe food handling; understanding how to properly use and maintain all equipment in station; assisting with the cleaning and organization of kitchen.
As the successful candidate, you will have a working knowledge in handling of food, and working in a team environment is one of your strengths. You are self-motivated, able to work effectively under pressure, and have a strong commitment to the quality of your service.
