Requirements:

• Three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to train, coach and mentor production associates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and capable of learning company software and database applications.
• Must be capable of lifting 25 kg.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledgeable in all safety polices and personal protection equipment requirements and ensures that all policies are adhered to and all associates are properly trained.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as required.
Physical Demands: Must be able to work both inside and outside, work in a production/warehouse environment.

Duties:

• Manages daily production operations within multiple lines and/or shifts to ensure blending of fertilizer products within established time frames, quality, and cost standards.
• Establishes daily activities directed toward productivity flow and balance, such as creating schedules and work assignments.
• Directs and execute routine equipment maintenance and oversees repairs of production and material handling equipment.
• Analyzes work orders, production schedules and other reports to determine requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
• Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to customer specifications and company standards.
• Responsible for training of new and existing employees on work and safety procedures or assign employees to experienced workers for training.
• Maintains shop supply inventories and meets with suppliers/vendors as needed.
• Identify cost savings and efficiencies within the business units by performing business process reviews and develop action plans to implement best practices.
• Participate as hands-on key team member.
• Maintain high levels of safety awareness and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Wage:

45000 – 60000

Hours Per Week:

40 hours per week
