Sales and Production Associate

About the Opportunity
NB Distillers is seeking a dependable, customer-focused and adaptable individual to join our team as a Sales and Production Associate. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and is comfortable supporting a variety of retail, sales and production-related tasks.
This role involves staffing our retail storefront, supporting inside sales activities, assisting with product tastings and providing support for events and production operations as needed.
Hours
Monday to Saturday
Part Time
- Regular Hours: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Summer Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wage
Minimum wage to start, with opportunities for increases based on performance and review.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff the retail store and provide a welcoming customer experience
- Greet customers, provide tastings and educate customers about products
- Process customer purchases and handle point-of-sale transactions
- Support inside sales activities by contacting partners, including the LCBO, to promote products
- Assist with events and provide support to event staff as needed
- Support production-related tasks as required
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and presentation within retail areas
- Assist with additional duties and shift between tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail and customer service experience required
- Strong sales and telephone communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable interacting with customers
- Well organized with strong attention to detail
- Dependable, honest and flexible
- Ability to adapt and move between different responsibilities throughout the day
- Smart Serve certification required
- Production experience is considered an asset
