Part-Time Breakfast Cook (1 Position)
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prep ingredients for the day.
- Set up the kitchen as required prior to breakfast service.
- Accept orders from serving staff.
- Prepare dishes in a timely manner ensuring the correct recipe and correct quantity.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Clean kitchen as required at the completion of breakfast service.
- Maintain Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
- Ensure the kitchen is following all food handling safety regulations.
- Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly to the Executive Chef.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and regulations.
- Professionally represents the Americana at all times by maintaining a clean uniform, neat appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
- All other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
Professional Qualifications:
- Completion of High School
Personal Qualities:
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Must have a passion for cooking
- Detail-oriented, ethical and honest
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting
