Job Gym is currently assisting Budget Sheet Metal in recruiting, a AutoCad candidate. This is a full time position. Budget Sheet Metal is a cutting edge technology and competitive pricing market, Budget Sheet Metal your choice for precision custom laser cutting and bending
In this role;
- CNC Programming (nesting), single sheet metal loaded per drawing,
- strong technical background, from a manufacturing/engineering environment is a bonus
- Basic understanding of sheet metal, i.e. stainless steel, aluminum, corten, mildsteel
- Work independently with strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to problem solve and with critical thinking skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail orientated and good organization skills
- Computer literate
- Cope under pressure
Additional Duties:
- Customer liaison/interaction, in person or via email
- Discuss customer requirements and convert into cad drawings
- Communicate, liaise and interact with Laser Operator and Press Brake operator to ensure customer requirements and specifications are met
- Scanner – scan products and convert to drawings
This a full time permanent position with remuneration per annum $30 000-00 starting and dependent on skill level.
The ideal candidate will have the experience and enjoys working in this type of environment. COVID guidelines are a must.
