Full-Time Food and Beverage Manager (Golf Course) (1 Position)

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for our clients in the Niagara Region for a Food and Beverage Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their hospitality experience and thrive with an established golf and country club.
Duties could include:
Managing day to day operations of a kitchen, banquet, and restaurant facility. This includes tasks such as:
- – professional and efficient daily operations of the facility, Halfway house, Beverage Cart, and Pro-Shop
- – attract, plan, and execute outside events
- – manage the scheduling of reservations for parties, events, weddings, and golf tournaments
- – interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline all employees in the department
- – schedule staff in front and back of house and on course services
- – control food and payroll costs
- – ordering and inventory control for all food and beverage items
- – conduct regular meetings for staff
Managerial tasks related to operations:
- – prepare schedules and documentation for shift work including pre-shift reports, daily training topics, shift floor plan, requisitions for beverage, food and sundries, labour
- – prepare reports and schedules, inter office communications
- – evaluate products to ensure that quality standards, price, and related goods are consistently met for all outlets
- – take part in management meetings
- – participate in the development of marketing initiatives (menus and promotions)
- – participate in health and safety procedures and implement standards to staff
Hours: Our client offers full time hours for this position for 8 out of 12 months of the year (not including winter shut down of golf course). Hours will be Full time, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is largely based on event, wedding, and golf tournament bookings.
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.50/ depending on experience.

Are you Qualified?
- -Smart Serve Certified and Safe Food Handling
- -Some preferred experience within the hospitality industry (i.e events, marketing, or managerial)
