Job Description
Job Title: Final Inspector
Job Summary: The Final Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer and company standards by inspecting cutting tools at the end of production.
Duties/Responsibilities:
– Inspect cutting tools manufactured within extreme tight tolerances using precision measuring equipment.
– Examine tools for proper geometry within engineering specifications and product codes.
– Approve or reject items and record inspection and disposition data.
– Other duties assigned.
Education and Experience:
– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
– Certification from a qualified institution in a related field is ideal but not required.
– Experience is a definite asset.
Starting Pay: $18.00
Job Title: Precision Cutting Tool Grinders (CNC/Manual)
Job Summary: The Precision Grinder will work various manual or CNC grinding machines to produce premium quality, high precision cutting tools. Will verify accuracy by using engineering drawings, reference documents along with precision measuring equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
– Responsible to set up-operate-control
– Interpret engineering drawings and product codes to determine dimensions and tolerances for finished workpiece.
– Verifies conformance for finished workpiece to specifications
– Maintain clean and safe work stations
– Maintain accurate inspection and production documents.
– Other duties assigned.
Education and Experience:
– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
– Certification from a qualified institution in a related field is ideal but not required.
– Experience is a definite asset.
Pay Range: $18.00 – $22.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
