Position: Material Handler

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (2 positions available)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Company Overview: Growing company based in Fort Erie that specializes in the construction and assembly of air conditioning and purifying systems. As we expand our operations, we are seeking two motivated individuals to join our team as Material Handlers.

Position Summary: As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for handling materials for shipping and receiving purposes, operating forklifts, and assisting with other assigned duties. This role requires the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs and previous forklift experience.

Responsibilities:

• Safely handle materials for shipping and receiving processes.
• Operate forklifts.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 1 year of previous forklift experience (required).
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical experience or education is considered an asset.
