Part-Time Office Worker (1 Position)
Job Description
Job Gym is currently assisting Attar Metals, with recruiting an Office Worker candidate. This is a part time permanent position. Attar Metals is a full service Metal Recycling organization since 1989. Attar Metals Inc. has continued to be an industry leader as a full service metal recycler, specializing in the purchasing, grading, handling and processing of all ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals from the manufacturing, dealer and service industries.
They are looking for someone who is interested in a part time position to join their team in the pay office. There will be one month of full time training from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and Saturday 7am to 12pm. Once training is completed the hours will continue to be 20 hours per week, 2 days plus a Thursday or Friday with some flexibility. Hours may vary during vacation time.
Employee and customer safety is the company’s top priority so safe distancing and sanitizing procedures are in place.
The ideal candidate will have an interest and enjoys this line of work, with a natural strong attention for detail. Candidates with manufacturing and cash experience are strongly required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have computer skills, Microsoft Excel basics
- Will be dealing with cash to pay customers.
- This is a customer service position, you are able to provide customer service in a professional manner
- Positive attitude, able to accept feedback
