What will I be doing?

As a Line Cook-Level 3 with the SpYce Lounge you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance to recipes and established standards. The Line Cook-Level 3 will be required to work independently and effectively execute food orders in an efficient and organized manner. This Team Member will also adhere to the standards of the Executive Chef and use correct handling of all food products. The Line Cook-Level 3 is required to maintain their workspace, including counter tops, utensils, equipment in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with company policy and Health and Safety standards.

Experience

  • General food knowledge required
  • Experience working as a Line Cook is an asset (not a requirement)

Skills

  • A passion for working in culinary
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume restaurant
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well within a Team

Requirements

  • Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
