Valet Attendant Responsibilities:
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests using their name when possible, anticipate and address guests; service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage when a Bellman is not available.
- Park cars upon arrival to the hotel and retrieve cars when requested by the guest.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
- Supply guests with directions.
- Arrange transportation (e.g. taxi cab) for guests/visitors.
- Compliance with all safety regulations and assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need as Valet Attendant:
Experience: 1+ years’ experience in a luxury hotel environment
Education: Secondary School Graduate Diploma preferred
Other Qualifications:

- Valid “G” driver’s license
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e. lift up to 50lbs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with guests and employees
- Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively within a team setting to anticipate and assist to another Associate’s guest’s needs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
