Job Description

Oversee all Cash and Float Office functions:
- Readings and balancing of cash registers throughout the park
- Sorting of money, preparation, and disbursement of float bags
- Preparation of bank deposits
- Buying and selling of foreign currency
- Keeping records on float charts, purchases from the bank
Set up cash registers and Cash Office equipment and computers, including regular servicing
Act as point of contact for computer and POS IT issues
Weekly, review Restaurant sales/inventory and provide information to Food Services Team Leader
Handle all interactions with outside agencies/companies as required
Liaise with Department Supervisors on cash related issues
Hire and train seasonal Park Accounting staff; provide supervision, coaching, and feedback to employees
Annual review of processes to determine where improvements/efficiencies can be made
Other duties as assigned

Graduate of Business Administration or Business Management program
Knowledge of and the ability to apply G.A.A.P. principles
3-5 years supervisory experience required
Considerable experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets
Experience in point of sale functions, admissions procedures, ticket, food, and retail sales is preferred
Knowledge of computers and point of sale machines
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, attention to detail and time management skills
First Aid and CPR certification is required
Work independently or part of a team
Support a 7 day a week operation, including evenings, weekends and holidays, sometimes with extended shifts
