Founded in 1991 by the Hockton family, Niagara River Trading has grown from its humble beginnings in the basement of the Hockton family home to become a recognized leader in the Canadian souvenir industry. Operated by Hugh Sr., Janice, Hugh Jr., and Scott Hockton, our company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, distinctive products that celebrate the spirit of Canada. With a focus on unique garment designs, River Wear has become a staple in souvenir shops across the country. Over the years, we have set ourselves apart with our dedication to craftsmanship and innovation, ensuring that each item we offer tells the story of Canada’s rich culture and heritage. In 2025, we proudly opened our new state-of-the-art, 80,000-square-foot facility, a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and growth. This expansion has allowed us to enhance our production capabilities to better serve you, our partners, while creating and maintaining over 100 local employment opportunities in the process.
